The Nurturer (The example of David)
The Lawgiver (The example of Nathan the prophet)
Kids needs boundaries like river need banks
The Protector (The example of Saul)
The Spiritual Mentor (The example of Amaziah)

2. FOUR MESSAGES EVERY CHILD NEEDS.
“I love you.”
Matthew 3.17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

“I believe in you!”
Matthew 17.5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

“I am proud of you!”
Mark 1.11 At this time, Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. The moment he came out of the water, he saw the sky split open and God’s Spirit, looking like a dove, come down on him. Along with the Spirit, a voice: “You are my Son, chosen and marked by my love, pride of my life.”
