Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. – Hebrews 12:1-4

TWO QUESTIONS?

WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
John 17:4 – I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.
2 Timothy 4:7 -I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
1 Timothy 6:12 – Fight the good fight of faith,
1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

THE INSPIRATION FOR THE RACE.

2 Timothy 4:8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
