If you are like most Americans, you are getting pretty POLITICKED OFF by all the fault finding and blame shifting.

With just a few more weeks left before the elections every citizen must refuse to be neutral about your Nation.

In a democracy, voting is a right as well as your responsibility. It is important to realize that voting allows each individual to take responsibility for their beliefs and ideas. By voting you are making your own decisions. Do not allow others to decide for you! Each citizen has the right to voice their opinion, and the responsibility to help their government by participating in the decision making process.

By voting, you will be more informed on the political, social, and environmental issues that surround you.

Here are some examples of how just ONE vote made significant changes in history:

 

In 1649: ONE VOTE caused Charles I of England to be executed.

 

 

In 1845 – ONE VOTE brought Texas into the Union

 

In 1868 – ONE VOTE saved President Andrew Johnson from impeachment

 

 

 

In 1960 – ONE VOTE per precinct elected John F. Kennedy President

In 1923: ONE VOTE gave Adolph Hitler leadership of the Nazi Party

Edward Everett Hale, the distinguished poet and former Chaplain of the U.S. Senate, eloquently captured the essence of every American’s duty: “I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, that I ought to do. And what I ought to do, by the grace of God, I shall do.”
